Diva of The Week: Cynthia Roy

Cynthia Roy was born and raised in the beautiful sunny Miami, Florida. At the early stages of her life she was classically trained and professionally trained, but most of all was born with phenomenal rhythm. She continued that dream by audition for New World School of the Arts as a dance major. Being a dancer has transformed her to be well rounded person, and continued to study ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, musical theater, african, krump, and contemporary. She was talented in all these fields, and continued to study because she was addicted to dance. She has had the pleasure of getting to dance with top choreographers such as Glenn Douglas Packard which owns hip hop group “ The Untouchables”, Shane Sparks from FOX’s  “ So You Think You Can Dance”, Showtyme, Brice with PopStarz. In order for her to continue her dreams she knew she had to step out of the box. Thus getting into modeling and but most of all runway modeling. She has been blessed to walk the runway for New World School of the Arts Fashion Shows, Images Modeling and Performing Arts Troupe, Glam-a-thon Fashion Show for Breast Cancer,Everything But Not So Ordinary Bridal Show, and the Fashion Designers Expo for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Also starring in many music videos and gracing the stages for many performances around Florida. She aspires to work in the field of sports medicine and become a successful dancer one day!
